Your First Treatment

We'll take a full case history of your general health as well as details of any past or present symptoms. We will talk about Chiropractic and then examine you, carrying out any necessary diagnostic tests. We will explain our findings and plan of treatment, then with your consent, make any necessary manual adjustments. Chiropractors have a highly tuned and trained sense of touch so can feel misalignments of the vertebrae and bones.

We will give preventative advice, as appropriate, about lifestyle, diet, exercise, posture and aftercare and can discuss methods of non prescriptive pain control.

If we find or suspect a problem requiring medical investigation we will refer you to your GP and, where appropriate, work with them to treat you.

How Many Sessions?

The number of sessions required varies and depends on:

How long you've had the problem - the more recent, then usually the quicker it will heal
The nature of your problem - simple of more complex
Your age - older people tend to heal more slowly
Your lifestyle - how you use your body
